*SAP HCM Payroll Functional Lead in LA for 6+ months CTH !!* This is a 6 month contract-to-hire position in Monroe, LA.
Responsibilities: Responsible for all configurations in the Time and Payroll modules of SAP. Responsible for management of a team of 6 employees plus occasional contractors who perform the following tasks related to the Time and Payroll modules within SAP: configuration in accordance with business requirements, system and integration testing; interface monitoring. Responsible for maintaining multiple relationships with business partners including Directors and Managers in Payroll and HR, Directors and Managers in Legal responsible for labor negotiations. This group will provide the majority of requirements for configuration and development for Time Collection and Payroll. Responsible for ensuring Time and Payroll modules within SAP comply with provisions of all labor union contracts. Recommend process improvements and system solutions to meet business objectives. Monitor and ensure efficiency of all interfaces to/from Time and Payroll modules within SAP. Troubleshoot, analyze and resolve HR/Payroll/Time system and data issues. Requirements: 5 years minimum SAP HR/Payroll configuration experience. Expertise in the following SAP functional areas: Time Management, Payroll, Benefits. Basic knowledge of the SAP Finance and Human Resources modules. Sound knowledge of project management methodology. Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related knowledge and experience. Strong analytical and customer service skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
