*Job Title* – Senior Tester *Job Location*- Woodlawn, MD *Visa Status*- Green Card ( No EAD, No H1Bs) *Rate*- $50/hr *Job Description- * It is COBOL,DB2 for Z/Os based mainframe project. · Understand application software requirements and overall application functionality. · Write software application test cases that exercise the application software and functionality and allow its operation to be assessed. · Perform setup of the test environment to allow test cases to be executed. This may consist of selecting and/ or entering test data into database tables and/or input datasets. · Carry out test case execution for the purpose of determining whether the application software operates correctly. · Document any software defects that may be identified during testing. · Collect test evidence that shows how the system under test performed, whether correct or otherwise. · Document test cases and results in a Test Case Specification and a Test Summary Report. · Discuss their work with peers, technical leads and management when requested and provide status on a daily basis. · Participate in training, meetings and test readiness reviews to support testing activities.
