Establish Production Runs, Ensures that appropriate job control language,
run documentation and data files are available. Create Job set-ups. Provide
software configuration management, Perform problem identification escalation
and resolution. May design code, benchmark test, debug and document
programs. Perform impact analysis, and application performance
analysis. Could be part of the on call rotation

Experience with Java/J2EE platform (Servlets/JSP)
• Experience with RAD (Rapid Application Developer) or Eclipse
• Experience with WebSphere Application Server (WAS)
• Experience with Web Services platform
• Proficiency in generating and/or manipulating the EAR files
• Basic Knowledge about Firewall concepts
• Some knowledge of trouble shooting techniques
• Be part of on-call rotation (just a heads-up here, if we are getting an
individual who doesn’t have mainframe exposure, I’m not sure whether they
can support our normal on-call, i.e., mainframe jobs).
• Ability to work closely with multiple teams
• Maintain Vendor relations for on-going enhancements and support
