Also SQL/PL queries and data warehouse experience. * *Develop and execute automated functional and performance test scripts using appropriate automation test tools. Work with development team to unit test suites, modules, harnesses etc. Ability to work on many tools like QTP but not limited to it. 10+ years experience in Primary Skill. Experience with other financial services clients preferred.* As part of a testing team, will be responsible for quality assurance and testing activities for Index KI project (Scrum). Must be able to analyze requirements/design documentation; actively participate in design and requirement discussions (3 Amigos); identify best test case/coverage for the system; and manipulate/create data in database and files for tests. Must be able to develop and execute both manual and automated tests suites. This position is on a geographically distributed agile software/database delivery team, in a very fast-paced, high-responsibility environment. Strong leadership and planning, ability to quickly learn business functions/technology systems, problem solving skills, and ability to adapt to change/shifting priorities are required. *Primary Responsibilities* • Using ATDD techniques, develop quality assurance and test strategies, test plans, and test cases based on requirements/design documents, and during collaborative discussion with team/stakeholders • Develop and execute test cases on multiple application tiers (service tier, DB tier, and UI) • Develop automated test cases with focus on maintainability and re-use • Ensure test traceability to requirements, document results of test case execution • Create test data for specific scenarios from production or production-like databases and files • Apply basic project management techniques/concepts to create test execution plans for projects or functionality, and provide estimates for test work on stories • Document defects as they are detected, drive the team to prioritize, triage, investigate, and fix defects • Actively communicate and collaborate with team members and leadership, taking an active role in driving quality delivery, and resolving issues in testability, test development, and test execution • Facilitate defect triage meetings, testing team standups, or acceptance test requirements • Report accurate status of test coverage, test execution, schedule, and defect counts • Be an advocate for Quality throughout the project life cycle.
