Sr. QA Engineer Santa Clara, CA 6+ months Pay: *OPEN* **Must be US Citizen or Greencard Holder** **Must be senior level candidates** *Sr QA Engineer* As a key member of the Professional Services R&D organization, the senior QA engineer will contribute to a world-class testing group. The objective of this group is to develop and test large scale analytics platform that enables advanced consulting services and in some cases, software-as-a-service offerings. • Develop expert knowledge of the subject matter and take QA responsibility for the assigned components. • Plan, design and document software test plans, review and get them approved. • Setup and maintain lab equipment (e.g. computers, routers, data simulators (e.g. Spirent)) • Configure and generate test data. • Run test cases, record results, report bugs and re-run test cases. • Automate test executions using test automation tools. • Assist project managers with work breakdown structure and time and cost estimates for the assigned software components. • Track your assigned work closely and ensure adherence to the project schedule. Alert appropriate management personnel if current or projected work is veering from schedule dates. • Maintain adherence to, and help to define, all processes and procedures associated with the organization’s software development lifecycle management. *Skill* *Required / Desired* *Amount of Experience* Bachelors Degree in Engineering Required 0 10 Years Experience with software testing and migration to production Required 0 Knowledge of Telecommunication and data technologies and protocols Desired 0 Ability to work with users to document, review and verify different technical Required 0 Hands on experience with setting up lab equipment Required 0 Hands on experience with data simulators Required 0 Proficient with Linux and scripting Required 0 Working knowledge of Oracle database and SQL Required 0 Working knowledge of standard Microsoft productivity applications Required 0 10 years of software testing background and will require some type of mobile telecom background.
