 *Position: SharePoint Engineer /Admin with Farm Admin Exp*

*Location: Boise, ID*

*Duration: 12-18 Months*

*Mandatory Skills:       *

•               Knowledge of SharePoint 2013 required

•               Experience with Windows Server operating systems (2003 and
2008)

•               Working knowledge of network architectures, Microsoft
Internet Information Server (IIS)

•               Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communications
skills

•               Excellent customer service skills

•               Active team participation and demonstrated teamwork skills

•               Ability to work in a fast paced 24x7 manufacturing
environment

•               Adherence to process and working knowledge of ITIL
principles

•               Ability to manage several concurrent projects or tasks

•               Self-motivated, ability to work with minimal supervision

•               Demonstrated ability and willingness to learn new tools and
technologies to support Client's changing environment.



*Detailed JD:*

As a SharePoint System Engineer the candidate will support the acquisition,
installation, maintenance and administration of Client’s SharePoint
computing environment (servers, storage, operating systems and web). He
will regularly work with Client’s Business Units to ensure solutions meet
or exceed business requirements. He will be expected to suggest, promote
and leverage published standards to minimize environment complexity and
ensure regulatory as well as license compliance.

Partners with infrastructure operations teams, worldwide, to understand
requirements and provide support as needed, ensuring the operational health
of the SharePoint environment (including security, availability,
performance, interoperability and reliability). Participates in
troubleshooting software and integrated application issues, working with
other Client support groups as appropriate and escalating and opening
support cases with the software vendor.  Works to continually improve
operations through routine monitoring of system performance, review of
system event and application log files, trend analysis, configuration,
incident and problem management processes.

Works with the Client SME Level 4 Resources to document the environment and
Client specific configurations and business. In conjunction with the
onshore support lead, coordinates and trains the Offshore support team.



*Desired Skills                *

•               Experience with scripting languages (e.g. WSH, PowerShell)
and IIS web programming skills (nice to have, not critical)

•               Familiarity with Microsoft System Center Operations Manager
(SCOM) (nice to have)
