*Role: Messaging Specialist* *Location: Pittsburgh, PA*
*Duration: 12+ month’s contract * *Position Description*: Client is searching for an individual who will function as a Messaging Specialist. This individual should have a minimum of *7 years experience within a financial services firm*. Responsibilities include design, development and implementation of messaging delivery software to be deployed in a multi-platform environment. Position is responsible for implementation of the Symantec Enterprise Vault. Candidate will work with the team to complete various tasks to build, troubleshoot, and deploy the next generation archive. The candidate must have good writing skills to complete required documentation. Candidate must have extensive knowledge of archiving specifically with Symantec Enterprise Vault including hardware and software release tracking. Work with a multitude of stakeholders, and must be able to react quickly and effectively. This position will oversee regular communications and be accountable for task and project completion. Candidate must have a strong understanding of *Domino messaging* and *journaling running on the IBM AIX platforms*. *Preferred Qualifications:* -Extensive knowledge of archiving technologies specifically *Symantec Enterprise Vault*. -Ability to demonstrate strong computer skills - specifically with *Lotus Notes*. -Excellent time management and multitasking skills and strong proficiency in both excellent written and verbal communications. The preferred candidate should possess the following: Excellent oral and written communication skills; Must be a team player who works well with technical and non-technical resources; Ability to take strategic direction from executive management; Initiative and analytic ability; Ability to see tasks through to completion without significant guidance; A strong technical messaging background with solid experience managing the application development process in a *multi-platform environment*; At least *five years experience working in an enterprise environment with solid accomplishments in software configuration management employing* the following products: *IBM COBOL, CICS, MQSeries/MQ Integrator, IBM DB2 or Oracle Database management systems*.
