*Title: **MAPPER/BIS Developer*

*Location* *: Harrisburg, PA *

*Duration : 6 months contract permanent*

*(Only W2 Candidates)*


*Job Requirements:*

   - *Candidates should have 5+ years of MAPPER development experience.*
   - The selected vendor shall provide a Business Information System
   application developer who will possess the experience necessary to complete
   the assigned work.
   - Additionally, the contractor must demonstrate specific experience in
   the use of Microsoft Office Professional 2010 (including Visio and
   PowerPoint) and Microsoft Visual Studio Team Web Access 2010 for Team
   Foundation Server (TFS).
   - The vendor shall supply a contractor who does not require training and
   who has managed and supported the referenced activities in the past.
   - The contractor will have superior communication skills, both verbal
   and written.
   - The contractor, and vendor, will be able to exchange information with
   all levels of DPW staff (management to end-user).

*Task to be Performed:*

   - Works with the ADA to set goals for each MAPPER project.
   - Works with the ADA to develop project work plans defining activities,
   schedules and tasks including documentation plans and schedules.
   - Works independently, or with other members of the MAPPER application
   development team, to analyze, design, document, develop, test, debug and
   implement authorized changes to components / modules of the assigned MAPPER
   application in the MAPPER Development environment.
   - Completes specific task assignments per requirements and within
   required timeframes.
   - Adheres to the Department’s MAPPER coding / security policies,
   procedures, standards and best practices.
   - Coordinates work with other software developers when working in a
   team.
   - Provides status of work to the team lead. Assists in monitoring
   estimated-time-to-complete and actuals for assigned tasks.
   - Completes required time reporting processes.
   - Anticipates, identifies, tracks and resolves issues and risks
   affecting own work and work of the application team.
   - Executes all responsibilities with little direct supervision from the
   team lead.
   - Completes unit testing of developed application components.
   - Analyzes problems, identifies, documents and resolves all coding
   defects discovered during unit/integration testing.
   - Resolves all coding defects identified and documented during User
   Acceptance testing phase.
   - Participates in meetings with the stakeholders and any business
   partners to gain acceptance of the application modifications prior to
   implementation.
   - Creates and submits the required MAPPER code promotion packages to the
   MAPPER
   - Quality Assurance team for review and approval.
   - Corrects any identified defects in coding or package content.
   - Coordinates the Production environment deployment with the DEA MAPPER
   Quality Assurance team.

Resolves any defects discovered in post-implementation through the end of
the contractor’s engagement
