Ruby Developer Richfield, MN 1+ Years Contract Requirements: At least five years of relevant systems software engineering experience and a BS/MS in computer science or engineering (or equivalent professional experience). Experience building high-performance, highly-available and scalable distributed systems Experience building complex software systems that have been successfully delivered to customers Experience with large database driven applications and/or distributed computing Aggressive Refactoring API Design Experience Experience with web development, REST, HTTP, Java, Ruby, Data, NoSQL, XML, json Experience with TDD, Agile, Paired Programming Knowledge and working experience of open source software (e.g. Apache, Tomcat, MongoDB, Memcache, etc.) Experience in configuring new services using HA Proxy and Apache. Experience working with Linux. Experience with Cloud Computing platforms (e.g. Amazon AWS, Hadoop, etc.) Nice to Have: Any level of experience as a MYSQL DBA and/or NoSQL is a plus Experience with SOLR.
