*Scope: *

This analyst is responsible for supporting all aspects of operation for a
capital markets business, including but not limited to trade settlement,
trade verification, cash/activity reconciliation, data maintenance, data
entry, issue resolution and customer service and processing wire transfers.
Looking for someone who has minimum 2 years working in back office
Operations for Capital Market business (banking) Ability to multitask in a
fast paced environment. Strong communications skills (Must be able to
communicate with clients orally and in writing). Excel/Word knowledge a
must.



*Description of Principal Duties & Accountabilities *

•         Ensure the accuracy and timely processing of trade tickets,
settlements, and cash transactions for Guaranteed Investment Contracts
(GICs), Fixed Income Securities (Agencies, ABS, MBS, Muni, Corporate, CP,
Deposits, Treasuries, Repurchase Agreements),

•         Perform daily cash reconciliations

•         Data entry of customer transactions

•         Resolve all exceptions between cash transactions and trade
settlements versus expected results.

•         Verify that all portfolios and systems / databases are updated
and current on a daily basis.

•         Provide excellent customer service to all relevant external and
internal customers. Track appropriate customer requests in the customer
service system.

•         Assist in the resolution process and analytics required to
resolve customer service and reconciliation issues.

•         Strong oral communications skills a must as we communicate daily
with external customers

•         Special projects as needed



*Minimum Qualifications Required *

•                     Two to Four years of experience in Capital Markets
and relevant experience in an operation role

•                     Understanding of Guaranteed Investment Contracts,
fixed income, interest calculations, and deal structuring components

•                     Strong problem solving and analytical skills

•                     Strong communication skills; must be capable of
interacting with clients orally and in writing

•                     Strong computing/technical skills (i.e. fluent in
Excel, macro usage, Power Point, MS Access)

•                     Strong process mindset and track record

•                     High energy level and strong attention to detail and
quality control

•                     Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and
deliver results

•                     Ability to work in a team envirionment



*Preferred Qualifications *

•                     Experience in the Municipal GIC business and/or Loan
processing business

•                     Basic Asset accounting from an operations perspective

•                     Experience with Principia Analytical System (or
similar derivative trading systems)
