Please review the following Job Description and share updated resume if you find comfortable for this position... *Role: JAVA Developer * *Location: Iowa City, IA* *Duration: Long Term* Relevant Experience (Yrs) Overall 5-8 years of experience in JAVA JEE with Jasper, Spring, JPA, Rest Services, JQuery Necessary Skills Ø Strong understanding and working experience of the following items: o Play Framework / Spring 3.X MVC / JSF-EJB o JPA / Hibernate o Servlets/JSPs o JSTL EL Syntax o Error Handling o Validators o Filters Ø Strong understanding and working experience of the following client side technologies/frameworks: o JQuery o HTML 5 o CSS 2 and 3 Ø Strong understanding and working experience in Jasper Reporting Tool: o Experience of Designing Complex reports in iReport with Charts (preferably new HTML5 based charts) o Integration of Jasper with J2EE based Web Framework o Working experiences with Jasper APIs Ø Must understand front end fundamentals such as the servlet and JSP lifecycles. Ø Experience with design patterns and web applications Ø Basic Unix skills (SSH/tunneling, navigating Unix environment, SCP/SFTP to transfer files). Ø Ability to research and solve problems on his/her own using Google, newsgroups, vendor support and other external resources Ø Good communication skills. Ø Strong debugging capability Desired Skills Ø Ability to work independently as well as with various size teams. Ø Additional skills in these areas will be considered a plus: o PL/SQL, Strong ability of writing Sql queries o Twitter Bootstrap o Experience in integrating JQuery plugins with application o Conceptual knowledge in Responsive Web Design o Charting tools, e.g. Highcharts o Github Roles & Responsibilities Ø Encoding middle and front-end tiers of a Web application utilizing the technologies listed above.
