*Interview mode: Phone hire* *JD:* *2+ years’ experience with software/tools: * *-Information management software (required expertise at high level):* O MS Access (preferred), Excel, FileMaker -Information manipulation, merging, graphing, and visualization for presentations: O *Tableau (required expertise at high level) plus Excel, PowerPoint* -Statistical software (required expertise with any common package): *O SPSS, SAS, or other stats packages* *Experienced in the following management tasks related to organizational data (performance, monitoring, tracking, staff-type services delivered, student achievement, etc.:* *-Data mining across variety of database systems, large and small* -Data extraction, importing, exporting, integration, and merging -Data cleaning and reconciliation for quality assurance -Data transformation using code to create new variables for performance metrics and analyses -Historical-data charting, graphing, visualization, and dashboard presentations -Geo coding for mapping certain types of collaboration, activity, and service information -Statistical analyses, typically descriptive, for instance, distributions, central tendencies, cross tabulations and correlations. -Following and training others in best practices protocols for systematic monitoring of key organizational performance and outcomes data. -Must have good interpersonal skills for collaborating with data managers and management staff to meet their information management needs. *Expected deliverables:* -Graphs, charts, maps of a wide variety of information for performance dashboards and summary reports. -Report and dashboard prototypes created for management decisions on final, standardized information dissemination templates. -Data quality checks for a minimum of 100 performance data elements to verify readiness of each for necessary transformation, analyses, and graphing - a collaborative process with organizational data managers. -User-friendly data management systems designed and built for one to two organizational units’ data collection and management tasks that are planned for early 2015. -Documentation of general data quality rules for standardized protocols across the larger organization among unit data managers.
