Please note that this is not for .NET website development, but for a thick
client software that is installed on PCs.
This project revolves around the client application that manages all orders
for non-internet channels. 10,000 users take orders through SAP and
speed/functionality with this application is critical. This resource will
be doing new
development, changes, and new functionalities on the order application.
This is non-web based for thick client software installed on PC’s.
1. WPF. C#. .NET Framework 4.0
WPF is most important! Need to have content within WPF or client
implementation with WPF
2. 5-7 years .Net development
Visual Studio 2010 (C#)
3. Mastery of all aspects of .Net development, especially:
i. XPF (XAML)
ii. Encoding and Localization
iii. Regular Expressions
iv. LINQ (to object and to XML)
v. Task Parallel Library
vi. Threading and Synchronization
vii. WCF/ASMX/REST Client and Service
viii. Binary Serialization
Demonstrated applications design and development experience.
While all these concepts are important, threading and WCF Rest Client and
Services. This resource will be consuming a lot of web services so must
have demonstrated experience
