Exp Required : 6+Yrs.
Skills Required :
• Min 6 years of hands on experience.
• Experience on VMware ESX 3.0, 3.5 and on vSphere 4.x, 5.x would be preferable.
• Experience on migration, upgradation of VMware infrastructure.
• Should have VMware certification.
• Fair understanding of VMware View with PCoIP.
• Experience in P2V, VMotion and VMware virtual center.
• Good hands on command line of ESX.
• Good hands on Experience in diagnostics & troubleshooting of ESX server
environment.
• Good understanding of HA and DRS environment.
• Good understanding of SRM
• Experience in performance tuning of VMware servers and Virtual sessions and
management of servers resources between virtual machines.
• Experience in backup and recovery of Virtual machines and virtual servers.
• VMware Update manager knowledge.
• VMware View-Connection Manager, Composer, Pool Knowledge.
• Good communication, both written and verbal
• Fair understanding of corporate computing environments.
• Ability to work flexible and stretch hours.
• Strong and timely decision-making skills.
• Knowledge of Service Management standards (e.g. ITIL).
• Familiarity with the following activities:
a.Process and Change Support.
b.Information & Knowledge Management.
c.Data Center Management.
d.Vendor Management.
e.Excellent Data Analysis and orientation.
f.Understanding of IT Operations Management.
• Added knowledge :
a.Windows
b.SAN knowledge.
