Must have excellent communication skills. · Significant knowledge of agile values, principles, and the Scrum framework · At least one year experience in the role of Scrum Master or Iteration Manager diligently applying agile and Scrum principles and practices · Knowledge of and experience with other agile frameworks (Kanban, Extreme Programming, etc.) · Experience demonstrating, and coaching others in, the areas of servant leadership, facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement, empowerment, and transparency · Knowledge of and experience with common agile practices, including but not limited to User Stories, ATDD, TDD, Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing, Pairing, Automated Testing, and being Done at the end of a Sprint · Significant experience forecasting team budget burn and project budget spend *Responsibilities* · Guide the team and organization on how to use agile values, agile principles, and Scrum practices to delight customers and build a culture of trust, respect, simplicity, courage, transparency, and agility · Guide the team on self-organization to fill in the intentional gaps left in the agile and Scrum frameworks · Strive to form the team into one cohesive group, where members succeed and fail together · Assess the agile and Scrum maturity of the team and organization, and coach the team to higher levels of maturity, at a pace that is sustainable and comfortable for the team and organization · Remove impediments and guide the team to remove impediments to enable the team to progress · Conduct retrospectives on a regular cadence and execute on the outputs to help the team and organization improve, and install a culture of continuous improvement · Build a trusting and safe environment where problems can be raised and questions asked without fear of blame, retribution, or being judged, with an emphasis on healing and problem solving · Facilitate getting the work done without coercing, assigning, or dictating the work · Facilitate discussion, decision making, and conflict resolution · Radiate helpful information to the team and stakeholders outside the team, including ensuring that the Scrum Board and other information radiators are kept current, and can report status of the team anytime, to anyone · Support and educate the Product Owner, especially with respect to grooming and maintaining the product backlog · Provide support to the team using a servant leadership style and leading by example, with a focus on operating from personal responsibility · Educate and coach on role expectations -
