RESPONSIBILITIES
We are building a platform of Open Source and SaaS tools to enable product
teams at
Monsanto to rapidly develop and deploy microservice-based application
topologies in the cloud. You will contribute to tools, services, and
advanced libraries to automate project creation,
testing, QA, deployment, monitoring, self-healing, auto-scaling, and
governance of these microservices. Development will be in Scala on OS X and
in AWS.
You will make significant use of type-level constraints, type classes,
monadic database interactions, and immutability at both the application and
server deployment levels.
You will also mentor application developers from product teams in the use
and evolution of these tools to best enable their rapid delivery of
business functionality.
