The Big Picture – Top Skills You Should Possess:
Hands on experience in UI/web application testing
Expertise in writing and executing manual test cases
Well Versed in automating functional tests using Selenium or QTP
Basic Java experience Required
*What You’ll Be Doing: *
Build and improve a manual test case library for the client’s NMS, complex
network management software tool
Quickly learn the functionality of the client’s NMS, a complex network
management software tool
Identify, write and execute test cases based on functional requirements,
incoming defect tickets, interviews with product managers, and exploration
of the software as a user
Review and revise existing test cases
*What You Need to Bring to the Table: *
UI/web application testing
Writing and executing manual test cases
Automating functional tests using Selenium or QTP
Some Java experience necessary
Very strong communication and presentation skills
Need at least basic knowledge with the following:
oJIRA (or some defect management tool)
oSQL (queries and joins, MySQL especially)
oLinux/Unix
oNetworking background is a plus
oZephyr for JIRA is a plus
*Additional Info:*
Must have reliable transportation as this position will travel to Newark,
DE up to once a week
Must be professional, supportive, diplomatic, flexible, and responsible
Must possess strong organizational skills; demonstrates solid judgment and
sense of urgency for priorities
Must be task oriented and a self starter; demonstrates high degree of
accountability for deliverables
Must have the ability to work with others in a high-pressure environment
Must have a short learning curve and be able to adapt quickly
