Position : HP Vertica Developer Location : Atlanta, GA Duration : 12 Months *SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED *: - At least 8 years’ experience in the IT domain with 3+ years of hands on experience of Vertica development - Should have good knowledge of Vertica and cluster Architecture(WOS,ROS,HA) - Should have good knowledge of Vertica Components like : Logical and Physical Schemas, Databases - Should be an expert in using complex Vertica SQL ,Flex tables etc. - Should be experienced in Performance Tuning in Vertica which includes creation of projection, partition swapping etc. - Hands-on implementation of E2E Vertica components - Should have good knowledge of BI and Data Warehousing and ETL - Proactive, Quick Learner, Problem Solver & Decision Maker. - Should be able to easily understand architecture designed by architects - good analytical & communication skills - Should have strong SQL knowledge and communication skills - Experienced person with ability to work in teams .
