Location: Addison, TX
Duration: 12+ Months Contract*
*Description:* Responsible for ensuring performance and stability of
applications within Mortgage Technology that are built on Pega PRPC
technology. Ensure solutions have performance and stability built into the
design and code prior to deployment to production. The role requires the
applicant to conduct design reviews based on business requirements, high
level and low level design documentation. The candidate will also perform
code reviews and advise application teams with recommendations based on
best practices and coding standards. Involved in monitoring,
troubleshooting and fixing of performance related issues that surface
during performance testing or production.
*RESPONSIBILITIES:*
1. Must be able to review and analyze code providing recommendations to
improve the design, ensure code meets documented standards, and improve
performance and stability of the code.
2. Ability to work multiple projects at one time. Applicant will be exposed
to multiple technologies integrating with Pega solutions. Applicant will be
responsible for coordinating design and code reviews for these components
with other resources on the team.
3. Experience in monitoring, troubleshooting and fixing performance issues
exposed during load testing and assisting with production stability issues.
*REQUIRED SKILLS:*
* 5+ years in Pega PRPC (work flows, Rules, etc.)
* 4+ years experience with Java
* 3+ years of performance monitoring and code profiling experience.
* 3+ years in design patterns
* Strong communication and writing skills
*PREFERRED SKILLS:*
* Prior Bank of America experience is a plus.
* Oracle experience – monitoring / tuning / troubleshooting
* Prior Sales Force experience
* Certification on PRPC Senior System Architect
