The PnL Application Support Analyst position is part of the Commercial Compliance and PnL Support Team of IT professionals providing support for the in-house developed Commercial Reporting systems (Trade Monitoring and PnL). These systems are used primarily by the Commercial Risk and Compliance business groups located in Houston, London and Singapore. The primary support responsibilities for this position will be to work closely with business users to provide both functional and technical support, daily troubleshooting and resolution of system issues as well as system monitoring for the Commercial reporting systems. A good understanding of daily snapshot and risk reporting functionality and database architecture with an ETRM application is required. *Responsibilities * The job responsibilities for this position are as follows: * Working directly with Commercial business users on day to day support operations related to PnL, managing/prioritizing support issues and capturing business requirements for PnL application. * Ability to translate business requirements into functional designs for Client specific development by support team or other IT service groups as needed. * Oversee all aspects of assigned break/fix and enhancements for PnL application (SDLC). * Troubleshoot and analyze PnL data or system issues directly on SQL Server database as well as within the PnL application or risk reporting architecture within RightAngle. * Providing support for custom PnL system interfaces with Commercial Data Warehouse and RightAngle. * Working collaboratively with support team members, other Commercial Application Support teams and IT service groups to support break/fix and enhancement items for PnL. * Providing on-call 24x7 application support and monitoring for Commercial Reporting Systems. * Opportunities to participate on project teams to fulfill a variety of project roles such a business analyst, functional analyst, technical architect, solution integrator or developer. This role requires daily interaction with heavy interaction with business users as well as other support team members. The individual in this position must be a self starter and able to work in a fast-paced environment. Also requires a person of experience who is able to learn the systems quickly and adhere to established processes and procedures to deliver solid results.
