*Role:DB2 DBA* *Location: Lansing, MI * *Duration: 6+ months * *Job description:* Requires at least 5 years of experience supporting multi-server enterprise environments. Position includes setting up processes and performing DBA support work. Must be able to perform troubleshooting for utility issues and have a solid understanding of the Korn shell scripting language. Ability to script and troubleshoot is key! The person will work with the DBA group as well as other coordinators involved in migrations and must be able to research and clearly articulate progress and status of scripts that already exist. Some knowledge of PowerShell is a plus. The person must have strong attention to detail and a sense of urgency.
