Position Summary
The senior PeopleSoft developer must have version 9.2 experience in a
public sector environment and be considered a technical Subject Matter
Expert (SME) in PeopleSoft enterprise development. Successful candidates
must have 10 years’ experience in similar developer roles.
Roles and Responsibilities
 Manage respective PeopleSoft development to deployment including driving
all related project tasks, objectives and milestones
 Direct and guide PeopleSoft 9.2 development decisions as they related to
the client business processes
 Report status to Project Management Office (PMO) team
 Provide project estimates for changes in business process and / or
additional new functionality
 Track, escalate and document project risks, issues, decisions and changes
to development scope
 Provide input and research into project recommendations and decisions
 Work with software vendor to submit defects in delivered functionality
 Provide other project related experience as necessary
 Create, document and track issues and resolution
 Provide input and review of complex system modifications
 Complete technical specification documentation per standards
 Review functional specification requirements, design, and business
processes to ensure alignment with information technology and business
strategies
 Provide expertise and resolution to the most complex technical design and
system integration issues
 Design, develop and test code and provide unit test scripts
 Evaluate/implement technical solutions related to the integration of
PeopleSoft with external systems such as web applications

Mandatory Qualifications
10 years’ experience with PeopleSoft developer roles
2 years’ combined experience with PeopleSoft 9.2 FMS or SCM applications in
a public sector environment (i.e., Federal, State, County, City, or
Municipality government, or Higher Education)
1 PeopleSoft version 9.2 implementation or upgrade project deployed
5 years’ experience with PeopleSoft Query
4 years’ experience with BI Publisher development
1 years’ experience with BI Publisher on PeopleTools 8.54 or higher
3 years’ combined experience with PeopleCode or Application Engine
 Ability to work on-site 5 days per week

Desired Skills
 Experience in full lifecycle upgrades/implementations of PeopleSoft 9.1 or
higher in a public sector environment (i.e., Federal, State, County, City,
or Municipality government, or Higher Education)
 Experience with data warehouse solutions including PeopleSoft EPM and

*Role:*

An ETL senior developer is responsible for developing data flow
architectures (designed by an ETL Architect) *within various integration
patterns for  loading analytical structures (DW, DM, ODS etc.), or
integrating and migrating applications (EAI). In doing so, he/ she
leverages industry-strength data movement technologies such as InfoSphere
DataStage,  Informatica PowerCenter or others*.



*The person must be able to:*

Configure and customize the chosen ETL tool for client installations.

Optimally leverage the ETL tool components for developing efficient
solutions for data management, conversion, migration and integration.
Develop overall design and determine division of labor across various
architectural components (for example ETL tool vs. database).

Deploy and customize Standard Architecture components.

Mentor client personnel. Train junior staff on the Integration
Methodologies and related supplemental solutions.

Support development of task plans including schedule and effort estimation,
under the guidance of an ETL architect.





*Minimum Requirements:*

Minimum 5 years experience

Advanced ETL experience using either Informatica or Data Stage

Strong individual contributor in complex Data Warehousing and Business
Intelligence project implementations; leadership experience a plus

Proven experience in working directly with business customers

Strong SQL skills including complex query building and query performance
tuning

Data analysis skills - ability to dig in and understand complex models and
business processes

UDB, SQL Server, Oracle, My SQL, Netezza or Teradata database experience

Strong UNIX shell scripting skills  (primarily in COBOL, Perl)

Strong understanding of Data warehousing design concepts/skills

Data profiling experience

Defining and implementing data integration architecture

Strong ETL performance tuning skills.  The ability to quickly and
efficiently analyze and resolve performance issues within variety of
operational environments

Demonstrated ability to analyze data concerning production volumes, batch
schedules, and i/o statistics

Proven problem-solving / problem resolution abilities.

The Senior Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst will serve as a
functional-focused analyst as part of an enterprise data warehouse and BI
team.  The enterprise DW-BI team builds and maintains custom BI solutions,
manages and enhances the data warehouse, performs data migrations, provides
data integration services, and provides additional custom application
development services related to information management.  The BI Analyst
will perform and lead many functional roles, such as requirements
gathering, QA, data analysis, conceptual design of BI solutions, and
creating and editing functional and technical documentation.  The analyst
must be flexible, able to adapt and perform various roles, able to support
multiple projects and initiatives concurrently, and work effectively in an
agile environment.  In addition to typical business analyst skills, the BI
analyst must be comfortable working with logical data models, able to
analyze data and write sql queries, and a deep understanding of business
intelligence concepts.  Experience as a reports/BI developer is a plus.

Roles and Duties:
• Conduct facilitated workshops for requirement elicitation and analysis
and conceptual design of BI solutions.
• Develop business and functional requirements.
• Create test scripts and perform testing and quality assurance of BI
solutions, including reports, dashboards, general application
functionality, and occasionally data integration processes.
• Implement and manage formal testing processes.
• Create and maintain business and technical documentation.

The Consultant shall:
Working with the Data Analytics Bureau and the Division of the Chief
