Job Title: Oracle EBS DBA Location: Chicago, IL Duration: 12 months *Rate: $47/hr on C2C* Client is seeking an Oracle E-Business Suites (EBS) Database Administrator to join a team of professionals providing IT services to a large Public Sector client. The work location is conveniently located downtown Chicago near all major public transportation channels. Duties:Serve as a back-up Applications DBA Assist primary Oracle DBA for server software & related products, database & application tuning/performance monitoring, backup & recovery, database procedures, functions & triggers Assist Client’s staff with database activities Assist Help Desk function for business users in the accounting department Work with a team of application specialists to support our client’s Oracle EBS R12 environment. Respond to customer support requests via the team’s phone queue. Investigate and resolve support requests within Service Level Agreement time frames. Assess and triage production issues. Escalate issues to management as appropriate. Develop and deliver training material to end users. Interact daily with the team lead and other teammates.
