Review project and system documentation and/or participate in one-on-one user training to learn the navigation, functions, and requirements of the system to be tested. Assist the business analyst(s) with the documentation of business and technical requirements for the project so that test cases and scripts can be directly associated with a requirement. Define and document test acceptance criteria. As sole QA team member, define, create, execute, and document test strategy, test cases, test scripts, automated test scripts, and test procedures for a new internal web application. Document test results, provide the development team with detailed defect information to assist them in problem resolution, and track defects through resolution. Provide the project manager with regular status on initiatives, accomplishments and/or issues. Work with the DOC QA Specialist to learn and understand applicable testing methodologies and available tools. Knowledge in Relational Databases and writing SQL queries. Data Analysis and Data conversion validation also required. Candidate must have 3 5 years of experience in using QA tools, preferably; with Micro Focus/Borland products; Test Case Management tool Silk Central; Defect Tracking Tool Star Team; Automation Tool Silk Test, Load Testing using Silk Performer, Capturing business requirements using Caliber. Validation of XML structures using SOAPUI, Database Validation using TOAD.
