The candidate must be able to perform multiple tasks and efforts simultaneously and will require little supervision to complete these tasks. *Position Requirements: * Previous 5+ years on multiple server hardware platforms based on Intel Linux Server Red Hat or SUSE. Candidate must be experienced in Linux Server Red Hat or SUSE enterprise servers, and preferably also Windows Server & Workstation, Active Directory, Virtualization, Disaster Recovery, LAN/WAN technologies and protocols. Degree in Electronics, Computer Science, or equivalent work experience is desired but not required. Candidate must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with a wide variety of internal and external personnel with emphasis on follow-through and reporting. Ability to perform multiple tasks, and adjust priorities based on workload with minimum supervision. Lead an engineering team responsible for technical projects. Provide management with timely, informative status reports. Possess excellent analytical and decision making skills. Demonstrate exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Candidate must be able to mentor junior team members. Flexible working hours, required to participate in an on-call rotation (includes evening, weekends, and occasional holidays). Be able to share your experience in High Availability Technologies such as Clustering and Load balancing of applications, Internet, Intranet servers with junior engineers.
