IOS Developer NYC,NY 6 month plus contract Face to Face interview needed
Technical Skills: • Solid Objective C and Cocoa development experience • Working knowledge of other programming languages, such as C++, Java, C# • Proficiency in software development design patterns and methodologies • Fluency with Object-Oriented and MVC programming models • Fluency with multi-threaded programming styles and approaches • An understanding of relational database schema design, queries, and optimization techniques • Knowledge of SQL • Experience with Swift a huge plus • Experience with JavaScript, HTML5 technologies a plus • Experience with Android programming a plus Mobile/iOS Development: • Experience with a variety of mobile platforms (iOS, Android, WP7) a plus • Proficiency in iPhone and iPad programming • Fundamental understanding of (pre-ARC) iOS memory management • Proficiency in UIKit, Foundation, Core Animation, Core Graphics, Core Data • Experience with Core Text, XML parsing (libxml) • Familiarity with mobile advertising providers such as iAds, AdMob, AdMarvel • Hands-on knowledge of latest iOS features At least one published app in the iTunes App Store • Education: BS in Computer Science or equivalent • 3+ years’ experience in iOS development • Experience with design and implementation of complex business applications • Experience working in a team environment • Able to work in a rapid and agile development environment with frequent deliveries. • Flexible in the hours they work. The Mobile team is a very aggressive, fast paced environment that requires very dedicated, organized and fast thinking candidates. • Individual must be independent and not require a lot of direction. This person should be able to jump in and hit the ground running. They should have a good, positive, fun attitude. They should be a good team player. • Individual should have maturity in assessing the urgency of an issue and understanding proper escalation. • Individual should be able to articulate and creative. • Individual should have solid development life cycle experience. • Individual should have a proven delivery track record of on time and within budget. Candidates should be prepared to provide code samples and demonstrate applications they have worked on.
