*Rockville MD* *Top 3 Must Haves:* • Minimum of 3+ years’ experience testing a variety of systems and Oracle EBS modules. • Minimum of 1 years’ experience with Hewlett Packard Application Lifecycle Management (HP ALM) or similar test management application • Detailed oriented and demonstrate excellent analytical skills. *Description:* Typical day consists of testing applications that are available for test. *About the Company:* standards for the identity, strength, quality, and purity of medicines, food ingredients, and dietary supplements manufactured, distributed and consumed worldwide. USP’s drug standards are enforceable in the United States by the Food and Drug Administration, and these standards are used in more than 140 countries *Summary of Duties:* • Writes step-by-step test scenarios and test cases from requirements and change requests in order to receive approval for test plan that will be used during testing. • Participates in meetings, identifies and seeks clarification of design and requirements during the requirements; Designs and follows change request process to ensure the test plan is accurate and up to date. • Performs manual and automated testing for Oracle E-Business suite and other software products. • Traces tests from and to requirements; defects to tests and requirements, and log full history of all issues using the Hewlett Packard Application Lifecycle Management software tool. • Ensures that products ready for release are fully tested, high quality products and meet the agreed upon release date. • Maintains updated test repository of all manual and automated tests for each product tested. Writes and/or execute automation scripts for all or some of the tests. • Uses existing and newly adopted processes within SQA to keep consistency and compliance. Actively participates in process improvement by offering solutions where needed. • Perform other duties as assigned. -- What happens after you submit a resume for an open position?
