*SCOPE OF SERVICES :*
DoITT provides for the sustained, efficient and effective delivery of IT
services, infrastructure and telecommunications to enhance service delivery
to New York City's residents, businesses, employees and visitors. As the
City's technology leader, DoITT is responsible for maintaining the
foundational IT infrastructure and systems that touch every aspect of City
life from public safety to human services, from education to economic
development crossing the full spectrum of governmental operations.
The successful candidate will serve as a Citrix Engineer reporting to the
IT Services Division. Responsibilities will include: Implementing,
Managing, Maintaining and Documenting Citrix XenApp/XenDesktop 7.6 and
Netscaler 10.x. Environment includes large Citrix farm and scaled out
Netscaler solution with knowledge on how to implement and maintain
Citrix-related standards, policies and procedures; implement and manage the
disaster recovery procedures for Citrix systems; resolve complex technical
operational problems; and handle special projects and initiatives as
assigned.
*Required :*
At least 4 Years of IT experience as a Windows Systems Administration,
Application Packaging, and Technical Support.
Installation of Citrix XenApp/XenDesktop 7.6 & Netscaler 10x.
Administration of Citrix XenApp Farms.
Configuration of Citrix server policies, Load Management and Printers in
the Farm.
Expertise in creating Citrix Streaming Profiles and Publishing Applications
to users in all Citrix XenApp.
Citrix Storefront Administration
Experience in administering Windows Terminal Server, Group Policy
management and Active Directory environment.
In-depth knowledge in dealing with Windows Registry and File Systems.
Providing Comprehensive documentation for system builds.
Excellent interpersonal and oral/written Communication skills and have high
adaptability to changes in technology.
Provide Application installation and troubleshooting of Citrix XenDesktop
suite of products, such as provisioning server, desktop delivery control,
virtual desktop images/target devices.
Provide extensive troubleshooting in installation and configuration of
Windows Operating Systems; Disk Configuration and Installation and
Configuration of DNS and Active Directory; Systems Policy and Group Policy;
Systems Back-up and Recovery; Windows Performance Tuning and Windows Server
troubleshooting.
Responsible for implementation of Desktop GPOs in all domains throughout.
Participates in the development and implementation of VDI-related
operational procedures and standards.
Develops and implements testing strategies and document results.
Troubleshoots and resolves complex problems.
Participates in special projects as required.
Providing support and assistance to System Administrator(s), Network
Engineer(s) and Telecommunications Systems staff in the delivery of End
User support and Systems Maintenance.
Responding to escalated requests for technical assistance.
Knowledge/ Experience of Citrix NetScaler load balancing and Access
Gateways.
Knowledge and skills required to implement and manage NetScaler for traffic
management, load balancing, content switching and application offloading.
Knowledge and skills needed to administer enterprise environments
consisting of NetScaler Gateway for secure remote access to desktops,
applications and data.
