Good Evening Partners, There are two managers seeking a total of 10 Data warehouse PMs with experience with actual DW builds. The role is contact to hire, but the manager WILL accept H1 B candidates these role. These are long term assignments that can last over 18 months. Please put focus on this.
Datawarehouse BUILD experience is necessary, not just front end. The best candidate will have a development background. Experience with Retail Banking and Teradata is ideal, but candidates without Teradata will be accepted. AGILE is also a must have. Datawarehouse PM Columbus, OH 12 MONTHS Manager Notes · Must have managed a project where they’ve built a DW, could have been new or conversion build · Cant be someone that has used DW · Someone with Teradata will be given much higher preference but it is not required · People must come from technical background · Agile is required · Must have managed large projects · MS Project, PowerPoint, Excel, Word all required skills · Person must be local to Columbus b/c they’re not going to pay for expenses · Want a decisive/persistent person · PMP or Masters of Project Management Required, must be familiar with PMBOK · Said the candidates they’ve interviewed have fallen short b/c of personality “too soft for environment” · Doing 5 years worth of datawarehouse work in 1 year · 5 openings now, 12-18 months (waiving tenure possible) *Job Description* 1. Project Manager with “Data Warehouse build” experience. Preferably Teradata. 2. Must have exposure to Agile development. 3. 5 years minimum of project management experience. Large projects – actual DW build. Need to screen resume 4. Must have technical background (does not have to be recent) in one of the ETL tools (Informatica, Data Stage, Ab Initio, etc) or custom written ETL (SQL, PERL, or UNIX scripts). Alternatively - Business or Data Analyst background in DW space. 5. Must have actual SQL experience on his resume (does not have to be recent) as a developer or BA/DA 6. Must have one of the major Databases in order of preference: Teradata, Oracle, DB2, SYBASE, Microsoft SQL Server. Does not have to be recent 7. Must have MS Project experience – recent. Competent and frequent user is good enough. 8. Must have Power Point, Word, and Excel – but does not have to be a “wizard”. Competent and frequent user is good enough 9. Must be local to Columbus (within reasonable commuting distance). We do not want to reimburse expenses. 10. Must have “hard” leadership skills – not a dictator, but decisive, persistent, and polite – but not “leading from behind” style. 11. PMP or equivalent education or experience. Must be familiar with PMBOK. If does not have Financial Services experience, must have PMI certification. 12.
