*Oracle / SQL Database Administrator – Advanced *for the period March 1, 2013 through June 30, 2013 on a time and materials basis to provide new and existing development of functionality to support the FL DOH licensure system and all affiliated intranet and internet services. During this period the employee will be responsible for some combination of the tasks outlined below for Project Area 4, *Oracle / SQL Database Administrator – Advanced.* ** *Section III - Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:* *Required:* *Oracle-related* Ø Demonstrated experience with Oracle products inclusive of Oracle Database Server, Oracle Application Server, Oracle Streams, Oracle Data Guard, Oracle Grid Control, Oracle RMAN. Ø Demonstrated experience as Oracle database administrator inclusive of data design/modeling, monitoring, and performance tuning. Ø Demonstrated experience with PL/SQL programming. Ø Demonstrated experience with Oracle relational databases, OLTP and DSS, serving in high performance, service-oriented, multi-tiered environments. Ø Demonstrated experience with configuration management, administration, and patching of Oracle Application servers and Oracle Database servers. Ø Demonstrated experience with SCCS (Source Code Control System) for the management of internal code changes to Oracle Forms/Reports, Oracle objects, and scripts. Ø Demonstrated experience with development and maintenance of Perl scripts and Unix shell scripts. *MS SQL-related* Ø Demonstrated experience with MS SQL products inclusive of MS SQL 2008. Ø Demonstrated experience as MS SQL database administrator inclusive of data design/modeling, monitoring, and performance tuning. Ø Demonstrated experience with SQL programming inclusive of stored procedures, functions, triggers, DTS packages, scheduled jobs, and linked servers. Ø Demonstrated experience with SQL relational databases, OLTP and DSS, serving in high performance, service-oriented, multi-tiered environments. Ø Demonstrated experience with configuration management (SourceSafe administration) for SQL database objects. Ø Demonstrated experience with database design tools including ERWin and ERStudio. *Enterprise** platform-related* Ø Demonstrated experience in change management best practices, serving in a code promotion role in partnership with development team. Ø Demonstrated configuration management of Crystal/BO reports and associated database objects. Ø Demonstrated experience in Web application server system administration, monitoring, trouble-shooting, and performance tuning.
