Client’s marketing team is looking for a business-minded technologist to contribute towards its growing portfolio of web initiatives. The Web Production group is tasked with working with our marketing and creative teams to bring ideas to life. Candidates should have strong technical abilities and an interest in maximizing business performance through a scientific “build and measure” approach. This is an ideal position for IT professionals seeking a close working relationship with business, creative and operations teams. As a member of the web production team you will: Build (A/B and multivariate) marketing tests using JavaScript, HTML and CSS Support and maintain existing online initiatives Analyze and measure test and control performance using Google Analytics/Omniture Collaborate with the Synapse online marketing team to brainstorm new testing opportunities Mobilize testing wins into scalable solutions that can be leveraged across all areas of business Engage IT resources to deliver new functionality for the business. Job Requirements: Bachelor’s degree (preferably in computer science, engineering or other technical field) Expert level competency in JavaScript, including advanced techniques AJAX, plug-in creation/development and JQuery Proficient in front-end technologies including HTML and CSS Experience with Google Analytics/Omniture Experience with an application designed for ecommerce/order capture At least 2-4 years of professional work experience is preferred Things that will make you stand out: Use of JS frameworks a plus (Backbone, Angular, Ember, etc.) Knowledge of other JS libraries (Mootools, Prototype, Dojo, etc.) Use of GIT for code management - (git projects/js fiddle a plus) Mobile development and responsive design experience (iOS, Android or mobile web) Contributions to an open source project and/or entrepreneurial endeavors – tell us about your side project! ..........................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................
