Competencies and Skills:Typically a Bachelors Degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent work experience in related discipline, working knowledge of functional design, build, testing, and deployment of analytic systems including DW, ETL, BI, and related security preferred, excellent verbal communication, facilitation and presentation skills, experience with Agile development methodology preferred, strong writing skills including ability to translate complex technical concepts and issues into effective solution designs and business cases for non-technical audiences, skilled at utilizing a variety of elicitation, documentation and analysis techniques, experience with organizational change management and ability to ensure stakeholder sponsorship and alignment to project goals.Demonstrated ability to develop, prioritize, plan and implement short- and long-range goals, ability to manage solution scope, requirements traceability, maintain requirements for re-use and prepare requirements packages for presentation to stakeholders, strong sense of accountability for completing work within defined scope and timeline and within a project management structure required, expert skills with Microsoft Office including Visio required, ability to multi-task effectively required, very high attention to detail and accuracy required., ability to work and share expertise in a close and collaborative team environment required. MUST HAVES:Informatica experience heavy on the ETL side.- ODI experience is not required but this architect will be utilizing ODI in Q3/Q4 PGE has adopted ODI.- seeking a hands on architect with STRONG experience with both ETL (backend) and BI (OBIEE) front end experience. Would like to see 50% EDI /50% BI (open seeing candidates 70%ETL / 30%BI).***This worker will be providing technical and process leadership for the technical team of ETL (Informatica & ODI) and BI (OBIEE) developers in all phases of the delivery process: requirements / scoping, prototyping / design, development, lead, guide, testing, release and support.
