During the construction phase the employee will follow defined company programming methodologies and concepts. · Responsibilities also include monitoring and supporting Data Warehouse Heat and Clearquest business cases. This includes coordinating efforts between impacted IS departments. · Responsibilities also include performing the required assessments and level of efforts for assigned tasks/projects deliverables. · Responsibilities also include supporting the Data Warehouse Weekly on-call rotation. · Responsible for developing Data Warehouse/Datamart application solutions, which incorporate back-end extraction processes, data transformation, and load processing. · Support required high volume batch, and recovery processes. · Attend required staff, project/project mgmt, lifecycle, and organization meetings. · Responsible for supporting/creating required SDM artifacts in accordance with the company’s · Systems Design Methodology (SDM). · Complete/present clear and concise weekly statuses to assigned Warehouse Team Lead. · Completes time entry, and enterprise management tool required tasks in a timely manner · Attend quarterly Data Warehouse PMO, Warehouse Standards, Peer Code, Deployment, and Sarbanes Oxley reviews. *Requirements: * · Education: A bachelor’s degree and professional certifications in Informatica and/or Oracle are required, or equivalent related technical experience · Candidate must have a minimum of 5 to 7 years’ experience in Information Technology · 7+ years` experience ETL preferably Informatica, Oracle PL/SQL · 5+ years’ developing shell scripts UNIX · 5+ years’ experience developing on Oracle databases, recent experience developing on Oracle · 10G · 5+ years’ experience developing Informatica, recent Informatica 9 experience. · 4+ years’ experience Data Modeling · 3+ years’ experience with TOAD or PLSQL Developer · 2+ years’ experience with Java · 2+ years’ experience with Open source framework. · Candidate must have 5 to 7 years’ full life cycle development experience. · Candidate must have the ability to write technical software design documentation. · Candidate must be able to grasp new concepts and quickly integrate them into the development process. · Must have strong people skills and be able to communicate technical and non-technical information effectively · Orally and in writing and be comfortable working in a collaborative team centric environment.
