Requirement for a PS developer is to build an Application Engine (AE) to
load Point of Sale punch data into PS_TL_RPTD_TIME. Data will already
reside within PeopleSoft via the POS to TIBCO load into a staging table in
PeopleSoft. The AE will be replacing the delivered ST_LOADER program and
must setup the punch time data the way Reported time requires it.
The AE program will replace 2 or 3 other custom programs and will have its
own error handling. This process will apply logic according to the business
rules to create valid records out of error records. There will be no error
reports or log files. Program will provide audit records and use online
grid pages for HR Direct to review and correct errors or exceptions.
Additionally, a new interface to load a separate brand’s punch time into
PeopleSoft will be required. This will be an interface that the load
program will use to process the brand’s data into Reported Time.
Resource will need to have very strong AE, technical design, unit test, and
communication skills to build this program and interact with the Time and
Labor rules developer to ensure that the new punch time data results are
accurate.
