*Here is the Job Description:* *Business AnalystMadison, WI6+ month contract* *Key Responsibilities:* Define and document requirements as necessary according to the needs of the project Ability to elicit requirements and document use cases, business rules, functional specifications, or other deliverables as assigned Work in partnership with the Project Manager to manage project scope Lead requirements sessions and challenge requirements that do not align with identified project goals Participate in the prioritization and negotiation of requirements to ensure the successful implementation of the solution to the identified schedule Work with the Project Manager to develop a detailed schedule that may include prototyping Use functional knowledge of the business to consumer (B2C) industry to support delivery of solutions that meet business needs Document and redesign business processes Assist with vendor relationship management, review vendor terms, conditions, and pricing as needed Be able to write test cases and participate in the testing process according to the needs of the project Job Qualifications: At least 5 years of experience gathering requirements and defining business solutions with cross functional teams Knowledge of industry standard Business Analysis Practices Proven ability to effectively collaborate with Project Managers on large projects from inception through to implementation Demonstrated ability to facilitate groups/teams to include planning, presentations and moderation Effectively able to solicit information from appropriate sources Demonstrated ability to analyze information, solve problems and adapt to different work environments Effective planning and organizational skills through previous work assignments Strong analytical and problem solving skills Familiarity with JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Web 2.0 technologies Ability to estimate project tasks related to requirements gathering Experience with ecommerce technologies, order management systems and/or warehouse management systems are highly desirable Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field desirable Experience with Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Visio required *Best Regards,* Sam Nelson Resource Development Manager Consulting Knights Inc. 100 Overlook Center 2nd Floor, Princeton, NJ 08540.
