Let me know who you have . *Title: **Oracle E-Business Suite Applications DBA (Financials)* *Location:* *SF Bay Area, CA* *Type of position: **Contract 3+ months * *GC/Citizens * *Description:* The Oracle Applications DBA Consultant resource will provide expert-level Oracle Financials (Oracle EBS) consulting services in support of Oracle Financials system. Resource shall work in the Oracle Financials Technical Unit in the Information Technology Department the Unit responsible for the maintenance and development of the Oracle E-Business Suite applications. The Consultant resource works on Oracle EBS upgrade project as an Applications DBA. Additionally, he/she is responsible for cloning, data migration, patching, maintaining Concurrent Managers, users and Responsibilities, code promotion, Index rebuilding, configuration and recompilation of apps schemas and other admin tasks. The scope of services that the Consultant resource shall perform includes, but is not limited to the following services: Fresh installation of Oracle E-Business Suite release 12.2.5 on Linux Server release 6.7 Migrate the Oracle E-Business AP and custom schema data from 11.5.10.2 to release 12.2.4. Install, Support, maintenance and deployment of the following modules of the Oracle E-Business Suite release R12.2.5: · *Financials*: Purchasing, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, Fixed Asset, Property Manager, Inventory; · *Workflow*: As embedded in the E-Business Suite. *Responsibilities: * The Oracle Applications DBA Consultant resource supports the maintenance team that is responsible for the Oracle Financials releases. The Consultant resource is responsible for providing day-to-day technical assistance in resolving problems relate to development phase and also provide the assistance for the current team to develop those skills: § Participate in Oracle EBS upgrade from 11.5.10.2 to 12.2.4. § Migrate data from EBS 11.5.10.2 to EBS 12.2.4 § Develop cloning procedures and document the steps. § Apply online patches (ADOP) to the production environment in Oracle EBS 12.2.4. § Ability to work with Oracle DBAs to encrypt the databases and do data masking as part of post clone steps. § Install Oracle EBS Application for Disaster Recovery on remote DR servers. § Integrate Oracle Access Manager with Oracle EBS as part of single click sign-on solution. § Diagnose and repair production application program problems while releasing them to production. § Create and deploy new LDT files using FNDLOAD Utility. § Mentor staff members in deploying and problem resolution. § Project management, as requested or required. § Work with Development to package the releases and deploy them in to production environment. § Detailed knowledge of Oracle technology stacks. § Configure Oracle system administration setups. § Preparation of user and systems procedures. § Produce clear and concise documentation of support deliverables. *Required Technical Skills* The Consultant resource should possess most of the following technical knowledge and experience: · 5+ years of Applications DBA experience with fresh installation, upgrade, applying patches, deploying and maintaining the systems. · 5+ years of Applications DBA experience on HP Unix and Linux servers · 3+ years of experience in Cloning, Encryption (Transparent Data Encryption) and Data masking. · Working experience in a SOX compliance environment with segregation of duties is desirable. · Working experience with multi-node multiple application top set-ups is a must. · 3+ years of experience with performance tuning and trouble shooting of applications. · 5+ years of knowledge of associated Oracle technologies e.g. Apache, WebLogic, Concurrent Managers, Workflow Mailer, Server setup, and JAVA. · Experience with Oracle EBS version 12.2.4 online patching is a plus. · Experience with Oracle Access Manager (Single sign-on) Integration with Oracle EBS is a plus. · 5+ years of experience in deploying the code using FNDLOAD and other utilities. · 3+ years of hands-on experience/advanced skill level in order to deploy reports, processes and interfaces utilizing SQL, PL/SQL, Oracle Reports, Oracle Forms, HP-UX, and Linux. · 5+ years of hands-on experience as an Application System Administrator capable to fulfill the major responsibilities of maintaining the application tier. · Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze information identify and formulate solutions to problems. · Sound knowledge of Oracle systems implementation and produce documentation · Extensive experience Installing, supporting, maintaining and deploying the following Oracle E-Business Suite modules utilized by State Fund: o Financials: Purchasing, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, Fixed Assets, and Inventory o Workflow: As embedded in the E-Business Suite. *Thanks & Regards* *Phani Kumar* *APPS FUSION INC* Office: 510-544-0760 EXT 104 ph...@appsfusion.com <phani.appsfus...@gmail.com> http://appsfusionrequirments.blogspot.in/ www.linkedin.com/pub/phani-kumar/5a/0/671/ Website: http://www.appsfusion.com [image: image001] [image: image002] *“Certified Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) by NMSDC”* Disclaimer: we respect your online privacy.
