*Business Systems Analyst Boston, MA Duration – 3-6 months contract* ** *They need to have done a migration from Charles River IMS v. 8 to Charles River IMS v. 9.* *Must-haves* 3 years as a Financial Business System Analyst 1 year of hands on experience with Charles River IMS Version 9 A strong understanding of Task flows, Task Forecasting, Settlement Application A strong background in the Financial Industry (specifically Investment Management, Portfolio Management) *Plusses *CRD Trading Experience *Role* The ideal level five candidate will help our Financial Client successfully move the data within their in-house Investment Management application to correlate with the newly upgraded Charles River Investment Management application. Our client is in the final stages of completing an upgrade from Charles River IMS Version 8 to Charles River IMS Version 9, and ants to ensure the success of the information that is held on the in-house application being able to be accessed through the Charles River IMS software. This person will be tasked to make sure of the timely release of the application on its "live" date. The ideal candidate will have hands on experience working with the Charles River Investment Management Services Tool, and understand it above a superficial level. Their day to day will include user configuration, setting up the application for users, creating and tracking work flows, ensuring the proper trade routes occur and go to the right trader/trade desk, and validating router/configuration. They also need to have a strong understanding of the financial sphere, specifically in the areas of Investment Management, Portfolio Management, and Equity Trades. They need to be comfortable interacting with equity traders and investors, and thus have an understanding of equity trades, investment trades, portfolio trades, and cash flows. They also need to have a firm grasp on what happens once the transaction (trade) is done with the settlement application.
