This includes creating optimum technical solutions, meeting / exceeding requirements, ensuring system security, quality, robust performance, and flexibility for future change. *Qualifications:* *8+ years experience and working knowledge of enterprise-wide Linux/Unix (RHEL. AIX and Solaris) infrastructure architecture and engineering. 5+ years experience in VMware. 8+ years Server/OS Architecture and Engineering level knowledge in large heterogeneous environments; hands-on experience. 8+ years sharp analytical abilities and proven design skills 8+ years experience in multiple operating systems, network protocols and hardware virtualization technologies, including initial system design, deployment, and maintenance *8+ years of broad technical knowledge of current emerging technologies, including but not limited to virtual technologies, cloud storage, enterprise file sharing, data encryption, and data migration techniques. 8+ years of strong communication skills, including written and verbal presentations 8+ years of experience in IBM AIX PowerHA, GPFS, Power Systems Architecture and Engineering. * Education:* BS Degree in computer science or related technical discipline VMWare certifications, Linux Certifications, other infrastructure certifications a plus *Experience: * · Working knowledge writing system and user specifications/documentation Working knowledge of UML Working knowledge of object oriented computer programming.
