*Title: Spotfire Consultant.Location: Houston,TXDuration: 6+ Months* The Project This Project will be comprised of a small elite Agile technology team working collaboratively with our business partners to deliver a Best of breed Commercial product to our clients. We are looking energetic, self starters, with out of the box ideas. We are looking for individuals that fit well within a small team oriented environment that maintain a high level of commitment, ideas, best practices, vision, and problem solving capabilities than can work toward a common goal. Role Purpose Spotfire development to work on producing & maintaining various external facing visualization dashboards/tools using advanced features in Spotfire such as IronPython, Javascript and TERR engine. Visualisations will be deployable via Spotfire Webplayer integrated into a larger web framework. The successful candidate must have the following qualifications for this demanding role: Collaborative working practices & ability communicate technical requirements with the wider teams (application, database developers and operational stakeholders) Ability to design & build complex and interactive visualizations within Spotfire using custom expressions, information model, IronPython, Javascript and R … An expert in dealing with data sets of varying data complexity & volumes with speed and efficiency The ability to work closely with stakeholders to guide, design and deliver high quality applications, enhancements and support services Adhere and pay special attention to coding standards, best practices, frameworks and maintainability while freely knowledge sharing with colleagues where improvements can be made Create technical documents to clearly convey design patterns, concepts, and integration points between participating sub-systems Self-starter, comfortable working independently & methodically and to aggressive timescales within a global environment Excellent verbal and written communication skills that can translate complex technical concepts into non-technical language that can be understood by business users and leadership teams.
