Application Developer Long term contract Phoenix, AZ *Must have: Java, Datastage and Healthcare experience.* Job Responsibilities: Senior Application Developer will work on a variety of batch interfaces around Facets Medical application. Working as Part of a 20 person team (10 onsite, 10 offshore) TOP responsibilities for this position: Assess the Business requirements Understand the current system design/architecture/functionality to a very detailed level and come up with best possible changes to meet the requirements. Follow best practices for database design Build robust/scalable code. Redesign/Recode the current interfaces for performance improvements, scalability software tools/skills are needed to perform these daily responsibilities: Must have both Datastage and java experience Experience working with Oracle and Sybase DB's on large datasets. Experience building Stored procedures, functions in SQL. skills/attributes are a must have: Strong analytical, problem solving skills, must be able to work well with teams. Should be a strong in SQL (Oracle), Sybase experience a plus 4+ years of experience working on Objected oriented programming language (Java) What skills/attributes are nice to have?
