*Oracle DBA* Location :Columbus, Ohio Duration : Long Term Need someone with INFOSEC exp., and security Administration exp., Position Description: Database Engineer III will assist with staff augmentation required to operationally support Oracle database environments during First Merit acquisition. Merger related activities include instance wide performance tuning, tactical application tuning (batch/OLTP) and on boarding. Additional duties include processing service requests in accordance with Client’s change policy, assist with documentation of standard operating procedures, maintain system health and monitoring capabilities, and provide project support. Roles & Responsibilities: Detailed Description: • Provide leadership in performance tuning critical systems and business process in preparation for merger activity increases • Provides effective production support including accurate problem identification, ticket documentation and customer/vendor dialogue. • Articulates the business value and impact of technical and non-technical information and understands when to escalate issues. • Responds to requests from individual users. • Delivers process documentation for small-to medium-scale.. • Must have a strong technology background to understand change requests and to recommend alternate solutions. • Performs all technical program tasks with minimal supervision. • Must have strong project and coordination skills. • Provide Level 1 & 2 support for the enterprise database environment.
