Position : Java Developer Location :Washington DC Duration :3+ months Job Description: Bachelor’s degree 5+ years of Java/J2EE development experience 5+ years of experience working with relational databases. 5+ years of experience working with data models for business intelligence and decision support systems Strong knowledge of SQL and understanding of multiple database types and vendors (e.g., Postgres, Oracle) 5+ years of professional experience with a large portion the following bullets: Database application or ETL development Development in a UNIX or Windows environment Even Better: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering Experience working with relational or multi-dimensional data in reporting or analytic infrastructures. Experience working with Hadoop, Hive, especially familiarity with Hortonworks Data Platform Experience with development of applications in Java/J2EE platform using core Java utilizing Hibernate and web frameworks like Spring-MVC, Spring Boot Experience with one or more scripting languages (Shell, Perl, Python, PHP...Etc.)
