*Immediate Need Security Engineer In Seattle, WA !! Need EAD GC and USC Only*
Position : Security engineer Location : Seattle, WA Duration : 6 months - Contract to Hire PRIMARY FUNCTIONS: •Assist in the planning, installation, testing, and support of security hardware and software. •Assist in the day-to-day monitoring and support of security infrastructure. •Manage security projects, such as, firewall replacement, network access control and wireless network deployment. •Maintain and develop documentation for security design, configuration management and disaster recovery QUALIFICATIONS: •Minimum of five years of experience in security engineering. •Working knowledge of Juniper Firewalls, Websense filtering, Aruba wireless and IDS. •Familiarity with Linux and Microsoft Windows Server 2008/2012 operating systems. •Experience with Cisco ISE a plus. •Experience with Check Point or Palo Alto firewalls a plus. •Proven troubleshooting skills in an enterprise environment. •Excellent documentation skills with the ability to create and follow documented processes and procedures. •Must have excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with individuals across all areas and levels of the company and establish communicative and prosperous working relationships. •Possess good judgment, ability to accept responsibility and handle confidential information. •Excellent communicator with the ability to express self clearly and effectively in writing, over the phone and in person as well as proven grammar, spelling and proofreading abilities. •Able to communicate technical issues to non-technical audiences.
