Hello Partners, Immediate Need of QA Tester!!
*Local to NY/NJ Only !! FTF INTERVIEW IS REQUIRED!!* * * Client has urgent need for a QA Analyst. This is a long term (at least 6 months) contract. We know the client has one candidate in front of them, but the are looking for a few more. Excellent communication skills are essential. Please let me know ASAP if you are Interested* * * ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES *include the following. Other duties may be assigned. ? Design, document, test and implement processes used in conjunction with the product. ? Participate in software development lifecycle activities including use case and requirement reviews as needed; develop, publish, implement, and maintain test plans, test cases and test scripts for the product; perform functional, system, integration, stress, load and performance testing; assist in set up of environment for software and test data development and execution. ? Participate in status meetings with project and IT management; maintain and review project/program due dates on a weekly basis; prepare estimates of all assigned tasks or projects in accordance with Quality Assurance group standards; troubleshoot and communicate quality issues or problems; work with a wide variety of staff both internal and external to the company. * * *EXPERIENCE* Minimum of 3 years of technical experience in product testing or software development or equivalent combination of education, training and experience. Experience in developing Test Plans and Test Cases from Business Requirements and or Use Cases; Must have a working knowledge of quality assurance methodologies; Experience with the following preferred but not required: Identifying test cases which are candidates for automation; executing automated test scripts. Familiarity with XML Schema. Experience working with web services. *TECHNOLOGY SKILLS* Competency in Windows operating environment using MS Office applications, e-mail and internet programs. Familiarity with Windows servers and Windows clients, and/or Solaris environment desired. Experience with testing applications written in Java, Oracle and SQL is desired. Knowledge of Oracle Databases is desired.
