Thanks & have a good day! *Cloud System Engineer* *Location: Orlando, FL* *Duration: 3 Months* *Job description:* As a Cloud (AWS) system engineer, you will contribute to the build & automation of cloud native applications with AWS for large scale enterprise applications. U se new technologies, techniques, patterns standards and best practices. This role is highly collaborative with other development teams, architects for new proj ect introduction and/or application enhancements. This is an exciting opportunity for the right person if they are passionate about technology, thrive in ever-c hanging software solutions, and are motivated by the ability to impact customers in a media & entertainment industry. *----- Must have Skillset -----* Should have overall experience of 6 years (or more) in build, automation and scripting of JEE application, worked on cloud technologies preferably in AWS (or other equivalent) for a minimum of 1-3 years. Good working experience on DevOps tools such as Chef, Vagrant, Virtual Box, Puppet, Ansible, Jenkins, Maven, ANT, SVN, GIT, and Docker, use of best of practic es with DevOps tools. Experienced in Administration of Production, Development, Stage and Test environment's carrying on Windows, Ubuntu, Red Hat Linux, SUSE Linux, Centos and Sola ris servers. Worked with configuration management tools like PUPPET, CHEF and ANSIBLE. Experience in setting up Puppet Master, Puppet Agents for managing enterprise polici es and configurations. Automated infrastructure provisioning using Terraform and Application deployment using Chef. Designed VCP, Route Tables, Direct Connect, Internet Gateway, Security Groups, and CloudWatch Monitoring Alerts. Must be good understanding in detail with application servers and web containers configuration and tuning like Tomcat7/8, TCServer, Websphere8, JBoss etc Good knowledge on AWS EC2, ECS, VPC, Autoscaling, Security Groups, AWS CLI, Cloud watch. Good at containerization of applications (Docker preferable), understand best practices of docker, develop reusable base images and tune docker applications. Should have knowledge on building, pushing and pulling docker images to AWS ECR repositories. Worked with the development to setup a CI/CD environment using Do cker. Developed Bash, Perl, Python, Ruby scripts for building deployment pipelines. Configure AWS Virtual Private Cloud to support application in prod/non-prod env, knowledge of defining AWS security groups which can act as virtual firewalls to control the incoming traffic onto one or more AWS EC2 instances, Knowledge of configuration of AWS Identity and Access Management (IAM) users and groups for improved login authentication. Used IAM to create and manage AWS u sers and groups, and use permissions to allow and deny their access to AWS resources. Setting up Auto scaling of the instance group using AWS command line tools and AWS cloud environment for Prod/QA environments AWS Integration with internal DNS, implementation of AWS high-availability using AWS Elastic Load Balancing (ELB), which can perform balance across instances in multiple availability zones. *----- Additional Required Skillset -----* Good working experience in ELB, ALB, S3, EBS, Cloudfront, RDS, Elastic Cache, Direct Connect, Route 53, IAM, SQS. Experience in real-time monitoring and alerting of applications deployed in AWS using Cloud Watch, Cloud Trail and Simple Notification Service. Assigned AWS e lastic IP addresses to work around host or availability zone failures by quickly re-mapping the address to another running instances. Experience in deploying and monitoring applications on various platforms using Elastic Bean Stalk, setting up the life cycle policies to back the data from Am azon Web ServicesAWS S3 to AWS Glacier, various AWS EC2 and S3 CLI tools. Configured and managed AWS Glacier to move old data to archives, based on retention po licy of database/applications. Support and configured all cloud services including AWS Direct Connect to On-Premise datacenter.
