Ensure all Oracle DB instances and related peripheral needs and components are configured and utilized effectively to support the local business processes. Monitor performance of Oracle DB environments, perform research and provide recommendations for improving performance, security, service levels. Review, analyze and modify Oracle Database including logical and physical database design. Provide performance tuning, software installation and upgrades. Gather requirements from users, developers and creates specifications and maintains the Database.
