Minimum Requirements:

Experienced in taking projects through full SDLC
Excellent problem-solving skills
Strong at Object Oriented Design and Development
Java development using Eclipse, Maven and Subversion
PL/SQL development for any industry leading RDBMS (Any one of the
following: Oracle/SQL Server/Sybase/MySQL)
Database development using Hibernate (or other industry leading JPA
implementations)
UI development in Java (Any one of Vaadin/GWT/Errai/Swing)
*Plus:*
Financial services experience (Equity/fixed income/derivatives)
Familiarity with algorithmic trading systems or real time data feeds
(example: Bloomberg/Reuters etc.)
Java web application development
*Responsibilities:*
Work closely with team members to understand functional requirements
and translate them into trusted software solutions
Implement solutions in an agile development environment
Independently manage work to ensure achievement of timelines
