*Need : Data Center Project ManagerLocation : Brooklyn, NYDuration : 6 months* *Data Center PM* This person will need to have Datacenter build-out experience, expanding to data network core routing and switching. They are not looking for candidates with infrastructure server experience. The scope of work will include project management of engineering functions to build-out a new Datacenter at an undisclosed location in the Eastern Seaboard of the US. Work in a consultative manner with systems engineering, operations, project management, security, and a number of other Client internal silos to deliver this professional service project. *Responsibilities of the consultant will include*: Create detailed project plans. Track, communicate and report project status on a weekly and quarterly basis. Consolidation and tracking of all TCMs and implementation activities for coming weekend work. Administer Change Authorization procedure with Client Project Manager. Procurement and tracking of all circuit and hardware requests. Create and track project timelines, including circuit/hardware delivery, circuit/hardware configuration, test and turnup procedures. Coordinate with external partners, vendors, and clients for the network deployment and ensure proper communication is in place prior to changes. Administer *TCM and/or Service Center* requests and track the execution work during the weekend work windows. *Qualifications:* Working technical knowledge of network infrastructure. Experience with Datacenter network build-outs. Experience with *Cisco switches* and router products. Knowledge of Arista technology a plus. Experience in inter-networking. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proven project management skills required. Must work well in team environment. Minimum of *5 years of project management* working experience financial services industry.
