Hi, Hope you are doing well! We currently have* Mainframe QA Analyst/Tester *contract position *in Charlotte, NC.* The contract rate is open and the skill base is expressed below. Experience with IBM Mainframe (TSO), File-AID, Changeman, PICCT, and SDLC. Candidates who have been mainly *mainframe developers who have done testin*g will also be considered. *Required Skillset* Must have at least 7-10 years experience in the QA discipline with experience managing or leading a small team. ·Must understand a Release Methodology and be able to manage multiple projects with multiple team members across the company. ·Must be able to work in a fast pace mainframe environment while possessing an analytical ability to research problems and/or defects. ·Must be able to lead and mentor junior project team members. ·Must be able to use all the modules within Quality Center. ·Strong oral and written communication, documentation, and meeting facilitation skills; Strong Knowledge of Call Center and Telephony products, retail banking, and standard brokerage products/services is required; ·Knowledge of Wachovia mainframe and distributed applications is preferred. ·Detail-oriented, self-starter with excellent teamwork skills; Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. *Additional Items to consider •* Working experience in a financial institution/brokerage environment *Role Description*: The QA Implementation Lead -Tester will be expected to do the following: • Analyze and test functional requirements. • Develop application requirements based on input gathered from a variety of sources including analysis results and feedback from the business community. • Develop environment (JCL, PROCs, Parm, Prog) to test conditions and expected results based on the application requirements. • Review project deliverables for completeness and quality and compliance with established project standards. Responsibilities / Deliverables The QA Implementation Lead -Tester will be responsible for the following: This role will be responsible for performing the associated tasks related to a Quality Assurance Tester in the Wells Fargo Advisors IT division. Responsibilities include: • Attend all Project Core Meetings, and be prepared to provide status on release • Prepare Test Strategy Document • Coordinate all Testing and Release Efforts • Attend Peer Review for Testing/Release Documents, and be ready to provide feedback on the scope of test strategy, plan, environment setup, test scripts, and traceability matrix • Provide Sign-off on the Test Plan • Track and Report on Defects through Quality Center (QC) • Use Quality Center (QC) for Metric Reporting (when appropriate) • Create and update tasks through CTD or Quality Center (QC) (when appropriate) • Provide Input to Environment Setup Request Document • Track status of Software Engineer’s execution of Test Cycle • Participate in User Acceptance Testing Process • Provide weekly Metric Reporting on all Releases • Coordinate Release Team in compiling all Tasks related to the Test Schedule / Implementation Plan • Assist in Preparation of Production Validation Plan and Review • Participate in Production Support Turnover • Assist Production Support should any issues arise post implementation Thank you for your help with this requirement.
