Position: MS BI Lead Duration: 6+ Months Location: *Stamford, CT (Locals or Nearby F2F required)* Rate: $70/Hr on C2C *Job Description:* Need Strong Microsoft BI Architect with *SQL & SharePoint MUST* 8+ years of experience *Architecting, developing* and/or managing the implementation of Business Intelligence solutions using *Microsoft SQL Server, Microsoft SharePoint* and Microsoft Excel utilizing experience with Microsoft OLAP. Experience in identifying, analyzing and translating business requirements and rules into intuitive analytical solutions, business scorecards and management dashboards Understanding of Business Intelligence solutions: operational and analytical, strong knowledge of relational and multi-dimensional database architectures Expertise in the Microsoft BI solution offerings including SQL Server 2012 stack PowerView, PowerPivot, SharePoint, Excel Web Apps, Reporting Services, Performance Point Services, and Native Excel Exposure to the SQL Server 2014, particularly the in-memory capabilities Significant experience using complex SSAS capabilities, such as cube level calculations including scope statements, Measure Groups, Partitioning and complex calculated hierarchies Strong understanding of multidimensional database design and architecture Experience of SQL Server Tabular Model and its capabilities with respect to SQL Server SSAS.
